With the acceleration of the popularization of education in China,the basic education continues to change,the scale of the private school expanded rapidly,the impact and function of the private schools has been more and more significant and important.And in the development of the education,it’s important to let these two forms of education to take advantage of each other,to supplement each other.For a private school,it’s competitiveness mainly reflected in the quality of teaching quality,management skills and if it’s suitable for the development trend of international education.Employee performance management is the core part of human resource management,it’s important to know how to improve employee’s performance.It’s a problem any enterprise must to face,it’s even so in people-oriented private schools.In this paper,the author uses private school as the research object,with the help of questionnaire and interview it makes a thorough investigation and study of the contemporary private school.The paper finds out that the main problems in running a Private school is the employee performance management.It looks through the performance,performance management system,performance appraisal theory,and also the characteristics of A private school,positioning,with guidelines of qualitative and quantitative,long-term and short-term,the principle of comprehensiveness,openness and so on,it modified A private school’s staff performance management.The modification of the improved employee performance management system can effectively help school administrators to evaluate system of employees,schools through the performance appraisal of teachers’ behavior and the direction of development.The school can improve it’s enterprise performance with guide,and to promote competitiveness of the school itself.but also hope to provide valuable reference for other private schools in the process of employee performance management.
