Mathematics education is an important part of basic education,The design and compilation of the mathematics textbook are of great significance.Exercises in Mathematics textbook is an important part of Mathematics textbook,through the comparison of mathematics textbook exercises,better suggestions can be put forward for textbook exercises compilation and exercises teaching practice.Graphics and geometry courses have been a hot spot in primary and middle schools,the triangle is an important part of the graphics and geometry course curriculum,and It also runs through the whole stage of compulsory education.Therefore,it is important to study the triangle exercises.This paper takes the triangle content exercises in junior high school mathematics textbooks of Australian 《Heinemann Maths Zone 7(8,9,10)VELS Enhanced》(HMZ),China People’s Education Press(PEPM)and Beijing Normal University Publishing House(BNUP)as the research objects,using literature research,content analysis and comparative research,makes a comparative study on the number,type,openness,background and integration of information technology in the triangular content exercises of junior high school mathematics textbooks in China and Australia.Through the comparative study,it is found that the three versions of junior high school mathematics textbooks have their own characteristics in the design of triangular content exercises:The number of triangles in HMZ textbooks is the largest.Triangle content exercises are the most widely used in PEPM textbooks.The opening degree of triangular exercises in HMZ and BNUP textbooks was higher than that in PEPM textbooks.The background design of triangular content exercises in HMZ textbooks is close to the life of students.PEPMand BNUP textbooks triangular content exercises and information technology integration is weak.The textbook exercises have their own characteristics,so they can learn from each other in the process of compiling and updating,thus making the textbooks more suitable for the education of the new era.Based on the conclusions of this study,the following suggestions are put forward to the textbook compilation and teaching case design of triangular content exercises in junior middle school in China:appropriate increase in the number of triangular content exercises;pay attention to the cultivation of basic knowledge and skills of triangular content exercises;pay attention to the combination of knowledge consolidation and knowledge renewal of triangular content exercises;improve the opening degree of triangle content exercises;choose the background and illustrations that are closely related to the life of the students;strengthen the triangle content exercises and information technology combination.
