This paper takes the congruent triangles as the research subject,which from Chinese version of the junior middle school mathematics textbook(PEP edition)and the United States McGraw-Hill version of junior middle school mathematics geometry textbook(MH edition).Under the compulsory education curriculum standards of China and the United States,this paper makes a qualitative analysis or a comparative analysis of the knowledge points,knowledge reasoning,example and exercises and the cognitive complexity of example and exercises in the content of congruent triangles.Through the comparative analysis,explore the differences,some references are provided for the improvement of Chinese geometry textbooks and teaching.Through the comparative study of the congruent triangle in the mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education between the two countries,the essential difference between the two is found.That is to say,the learning of the congruent triangle in the PEP edition is based on the plane geometry,while the learning of the congruent triangle in the MH edition is based on the space.After understanding the curriculum standards of compulsory education in the two countries and the overall understanding of the two editions of textbook,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the congruent triangle in the two editions of the textbook,and probes into the similarities and differences between the two editions of the textbook in the congruent triangle.Combined with the basic ideas of mathematics,and to draw the conclusion of comparative analysis:1.For the study of congruent triangles,the PEP edition starts from the plane,while the MH edition starts from the space.2.The textbook of the MH edition is more focused on the "growing point" and the "extension point" of the knowledge than the textbook of the PEP edition,and the diversity of the thought of combination of number and form.3.The textbook of the two editions pay more attention to the cultivation of the reasoning thought,but the textbook of the MH edition is more focused on the cultivation of the abstract thought than the textbook of the PEP edition.Finally,Combined with the mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education in China and the above conclusions: First,pay attention to the "growth point" and "extension point" of knowledge,expand the knowledge points;Second,use the number of forms to solvethe shape,let students experience the diversity of the combination of numbers and shapes;Third,the material reflects the concept of space,cultivate students' Abstract thinking ability.Combined with the mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education in China and the above conclusions: First,the relationship between routine exercises and examinations should be strengthened,let students feel the exercises in the middle school entrance examination;Second,using tools to present geometric material,developing the geometric sense,cultivating students' Spatial Abstract ability.
