As an important part of high school mathematics textbooks, examples and exercises should provide guarantee and support for the development of students' core literacy in mathematics. They are indispensable for the study of examples of textbooks.Select two sets of general high school mathematics textbooks published by People's Education Press, namely PEP A(2004 edition)and PEP A(2019 edition),explore the characteristics of the textbook examples and exercises of the two editions, and compare their similarities and differences.Construct an analysis framework of textbook examples and exercises from a macro and micro perspective. The macro analysis includes the quantity, type, information presentation, material background, example problem solving strategies, and exercise column settings. The micro analysis includes the typicality and basicity of the example problems.,Demonstration, comprehensive difficulty, and the variation, coverage, and level of the exercises. At the same time, according to the "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)",the level of mathematics core literacy is divided and the connotation is explained, and the analysis framework of the mathematics core literacy expressed by the example exercises is constructed.Taking the example exercises of the "Exponential Function and Logarithmic Function" chapters as the research object, the two editions of the textbooks are statistically analyzed based on the framework, and the common features of the two editions of the textbooks are obtained: the problem-solving strategies of the examples are relatively monotonous;there are many example exercises It is a purely mathematical type of problem;the typicality of the sample problems is well represented;both emphasize the cultivation of mathematical operations and logical reasoning;the difference lies in: the basicity of the sample problems, the demonstration of new knowledge use,and the demonstration of thinking skills are quite different;the number of exercises There are large differences in levels and variants, and the types and distributions have their own emphasis;the new version of the textbook examples and exercises show a more balanced distribution of mathematics core literacy, and pay attention to the achievement of mathematics academic quality level 3,and the setting of exercise columns is more diverse;the old version The textbook example exercises have advantages in the manifestation of mathematical modeling literacy.Based on the above research conclusions, the following suggestions are put forward for the design of example exercises: in-depth highlighting of the hierarchy, paying attention to the learning needs of different students;selecting life materials closely related to students, emphasizing students' subjectivity and participation;embodying core qualities Under the premise that the overall distribution of the example exercises is relatively balanced, the penetration of mathematical modeling literacy is emphasized;the example exercises need to reasonably reflect the complete thinking process and give students more thinking;the types of exercises should be scientifically distributed, and the representation methods should be diversified.
