With the improvement of education system in our country,the vitality as a new dimension to judge the health degree of education system and the development of school connotation has begun to attract researchers’ attention and exploration.At the same time,with the further implementation of China’s new curriculum reform,teacher professional development has become one of the fundamental strategies to meet the new challenges.To explore the relationship between the vitality of school and the professional development of teachers has profound significance for the theory and practice of education management,such as the vitality of school has what kind of impact to the teachers’ professional development,through which aspects of influence,the problems,and how to promote school vitality to further promote the teacher professional development.This study adopts the method of empirical study,by collecting and organizing the relevant data,questionnaire survey,in-depth interviews and observation in field research to explore the present situation of the vitality of H Middle School,of the teachers’ professional development and the influence of teachers’ professional development.Analyzing the problems existed in the vitality of school to put forward countermeasures and suggestions.The results are as the follows:(1)H Middle School has better vitality and the teachers’ professional development is in a higher level;(2)the vitality of H Middle School is closely related with the teachers’ professional development and has a further impact on the teachers’ professional development;(3)The competence is found to explain 31.3% variance of teacher professional concept and explain 38.4% variance of teacher professional ethics;(4)Autonomy and openness are combined to explain 35.8% variance of teacher professional knowledge;(5)Openness,autonomy and identity are combined to explain 30.1% variance of teacher professional competence;(6)Based on the former research,this study found that the openness of H Middle School is worse than the other three dimensions of competence,autonomy and identity.The professional competence of teachers is worse than the other three dimensions of professional concept,professional ethics,professional knowledge.Based on the actual problems in the research,some suggessions are put forward as the followings: Improve teacher’s salary satisfaction.On one hand,the scool need to improve the system and properly allocate teachers’ income.On the other hand,the school need to guide teachers to establish positive professional values;(2)Establish reasonable development goals for both the school and the teachers;(3)Reduce the frequency of redundant tasks and activities;(4)Strengthen the communication ability of middle-level leadership;(5)Standardize management system and concept.
