Xu Teli was an important educator who had a great influence on Chinese education in the 20 th century,and he was also the founder of the Neo-Democratic education and the pioneer of ideological and political education in China.He advocated the use of Marxism in educating students,helping them to develop the Marxist world outlook,the proletarian consciousness,national morality and so on.These thoughts also reflect on his curriculum designing and textbook arrangement which show great wisdom of the dialectical materialism and historical materialism.In addition,during the revolution of the Neo-Democratic education and socialist education,his theory also showed a strong scientificity and practicality,and effected the education policy of the communist party of China at the early stage of the revolutionary base areas and the founding of new China in the last century,thus,Xu Teli moral education thought could be called as "the Marxism in the field of education".The study on Xu Teli's moral education thought could not only enrich our country's moral education theory as well as dig new material and new ideas for moral education research,but also act as an important driving force in developing the Marxist moral education theory system,realizing the embodiment of Marxism science theory in the field of moral education.But these valuable education thoughts didn't achieve much attention in the education circle,that is the reason why the study of this moral education thoughts should be deepened and developed in order to make this theory influence further in today's moral education career.This paper is divided into four chapters: The first chapter is the introduction about the research background,research status and research methods of this article;The second chapter is the theory basis for the study on Xu Teli's moral education thoughts,including the definition and this moral education thought development process,which clarifies the connotation and denotation of the word "moral education",and presents the complex background and the process of this moral education ideas development;The third chapter is about the characteristics of Xu Teli's moral education thought,that is this the core of this article,owing to the education framework that the previous scholars always use to study Xu Teli's moral education thought is difficult to reflect the Marxist essence of Xu Teli's moral education thought.This article chooses the Marxism as the logic clue,which respectively writes about "the theory of moral education trait","the dialectical theory of moral education" and "the epistemology of moral education" to show the Marxist trait of his moral education thought;The fourth chapter is about the contemporary enlightenment of Xu Teli's moral education thought,this part mainly elaborates how to use Xu Teli's moral education thought in the current moral education work,so as to allows the Marxism and the increasingly diverse work of the moral education in current China to intermingle,and to play better effect in the moral education.
