Research On Xu Teli's Thoughts On Ideological And Political Education

As a famous early education thinker of the Communist Party of China,Xu Teli devoted all his life to the cause of education in China.In his constant exploration of education,he left us a wealth of educational propositions,among which ideological and political education is more representative.Xu Teli's thought of Ideological and political education adapted to the general trend of social and historical development at that time,and still had important reference significance for ideological and political education in the new era.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part combs the formation background,theoretical origin and development process of Xu Teli's ideological and political education thought,thus laying a theoretical foundation for the analysis of Xu Teli's ideological and political education thought.The second part combs the main contents and basic principles of Xu Teli's ideological and political education.The main contents can be summarized as five aspects;world outlook education,revolutionary ideal education,public morality education of "five love",collectivism education and hard struggle education.The basic principles cover the principles of direction,democracy and teaching by example.The third part of this paper introduces the main methods and characteristics of Xu Teli's ideological and political education thought.The methods include edifying infection method,reasoning guidance method and practice exercise method.The characteristics are revolutionary,scientific,innovative,popular and national.The fourth part firstly summarizes the historical value of Xu Teli's ideological and political education thought,mainly embodied in three aspects:his ideological and political education thought for "mass-oriented" education,for "ideological education" essential meaning,and for "teaching practice".Secondly,it explores some enlightenment of Xu Teli's ideological and political education thought to the ideological and political education work of our country in the new era.The main manifestation is that in the new era,we should constantly strengthen the education of communist ideals and beliefs,constantly strengthen the morality education for college students,and put ideological and political education in the first place.
