Geometry,in the teaching to the students' space concept,geometric reasoning has a subtle effect,therefore,the study of it has always been the hot spot of the national mathematics education research and reform.This paper makes an analysis of the geometry field in the zhejiang version and the SMP version of junior high school textbook,hopes to offer some suggestions to the writing of textbooks.This paper,starting from the general and specific part of geometry,attempts to firstly study the overall teaching materials by means of literature method,comparison method and so on(design features,style and content of geometric distribution and arrangement order);Then the study of spatial motion graphics and graphics transform conducts from both the macro(background information,knowledge,location and space,specific knowledge)and the micro;Finally,the difficulties of the two parts are analyzed and conclusions are as follows:1.Zhejiang edition is paperback,black and white,portable and easy to carry while the English SMP edition is hardback,colorful and uneasy to carry.The total number of geometric illustrations in Zhejiang teaching plate is less than that in English SMP.The illustrations with regard to history of mathematics and science technology in both editions are barely involved.2.The geometric distribution of the Zhejiang edition is distributed from general to special modular,while the distribution of English SMP edition is spiraling.3.The concepts and nature theories in Zhejiang edition are mostly indroduced by practical problems and the majority of them are presented by images and symbols,with examples and strict demonstration.In addition,its thinking level is based on the description and theories.On the contrary,the English SMP version uses mathematics problems to introduce concepts and theories and these problems are mostly presented with the graph.Moreover,this version presents its strictness in the form of images and its thinking level in a direct and described form.4.The difficulty of the sample questions is higher than that of the English SMPand the reasoning and calculation of the Zhejiang version is more prominent.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are made for the geometry of junior high school textbooks:First,according to the fact that colorful English SMP has attracted students' attention easily,the textbook compilation can enrich the color and increase the interest of official teaching materials.Secondly,the research shows that there are few technical aspects of zhejiang education edition and English SMP edition.In order to meet the continuous development of society,relevant technologies should be appropriately integrated to improve the technology contents of textbooks.Third,the English SMP edition presents the learning requirement list before the beginning of the unit,which is easier for students to master.So adding the introduction up to the teaching materials is a good policy to improve the quality of presetting in textbooks.Fourthly,it is better to increase the difficulty of exercises to maintain the balance of textbooks.Last but not least,the sample questions in English SMP version shows a strong variant.To be perfect,the textbooks can appropriately optimize the title to spotlight the diversity of textbooks.
