Shanghai emphasismore on basic courses and applications, while the content design flexibility to meetthe needs of students with different aptitudes plus development through compulsoryelective; influencing of Western educational thought/Taiwan geometric theoryproof requirements are relatively low’ but the emphasis on geometric thinkingdominant introduced, focusing on links between geometry and other disciplines;the content of geometric part in Shanghai is relatively rich, demanding of deductiveproof. This paper consists of five major components:The first chapter describes the background of the issues raised, and sort ofexisting achievements, and gives the thesis objectives and programs. The second chapter of the mathematics curriculum standards in Taiwan andShanghai were compared from the basic concepts, course objectives, implementation and evaluation of common differences between the two sides of themathematics curriculum standards for analysis. The third chapter compares the characteristics of mathematics textbooks inShanghai and Taiwan.Chapter IV of the two materials and geometric graphics comparative analysissection typical for graphics and geometric content triangle, square, circle of plateswere compared and analyzed. The fifth chapter of the comparison results for the three chapters of analysis andthinking.
