"Full-time Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standard(Revised Draft)" was put forward.The content of elementary school mathematics textbook of Soviet Educational Press has been revised according to the current situation of students'development.The teaching content is closer to students' life.Especially the students of grade 4-6 have some mathematics learning thinking after they have received the primary school mathematics education of grade 1-3.The understanding of space concept is not yet mature.The main purpose is to train and learn students'concrete thinking at this stage.The study of "Graphics and Geometry" needs spatial Abstract concepts,so that learners can better learn and master the synthesis and practice of"Graphics and Geometry".The students of grade 4-6 need to train and cultivate their comprehensive and practical abilities in "Graphics and Geometry".According to the students'age and psychological development characteristics,the Mathematics Society of the Soviet Educational Press chooses the contents and methods that are suitable for students' learning.At the same time,teachers should apply the teaching objectives of quality education to teaching practice.Based on the current situation of graphics and geometry teaching,this study finds out the existing problems and attributions,and puts forward practical strategies according to the actual situation of attribution and frontline positions.By means of questionnaire,interview,documentary analysis and comparative analysis,this study investigates the students of grade 4-6 in Wutang Experimental School,Zhenjiang City,Jiangsu Province.Based on the results of the survey,this study analyses the mathematical thinking of the students of grade 4-6 and explores the curriculum objectives and teaching requirements of "Graphics and Geometry" in the New Curriculum Standard,so as to understand the subjects.The problems encountered in the pre-teaching process,so as to better put forward countermeasures.The main problems of this study are as follows:Firstly,it mainly focuses on the problems encountered in the teaching and learning of "Graphics and Geometry" of the Soviet Educational Press.Secondly,it analyses the problems existing in the teaching of Soviet Educational Press and "Graphics and Geometry" for the students of Grade 4-6 in the second section.Thirdly,we should find out the teaching strategies and put forward some suggestions for revising the textbooks.The conclusions of this study are as follows:Firstly,combined with the problems encountered in the teaching and learning of "Graphics and Geometry" of the Soviet Educational Press,it can be concluded that the students'mastery of the mathematics curriculum of the Soviet Educational Press is not satisfactory,or even unclear about this part of the content.Secondly,through the analysis of the problems existing in the teaching of the students of Grade 4-6 in the second section of the Soviet Educational Press and "Graphics and Geometry".It can be seen that the contents of "geometric intuition" and "graphics and geometry" are the core of the mathematics class of the Soviet Educational Press,but the students in the second stage are in grade 4-6,which makes it difficult to understand abstract geometric concepts.Thirdly,according to the fact that the content of the textbook of the Soviet Educational Press has less application content of "geometric intuition" and "space concept",this paper tries to find out the teaching countermeasures,and puts forward some suggestions for the revision of the textbook.Suggestions for appropriate revision of the existing textbooks are put forward to increase the application of "geometric intuition" and "space concept" in order to better train the students'mathematical thinking of "geometric intuition" and "space concept" in the second semester of grade 4-6.
