Since the implement of reform and opening up policy,with the rapid development of the social economy China's national productivity has been liberated,and its living level and quality have been improved significantly.However,the social and economic reforms also bring about many social problems among which the most prominent one is serious social inequality.In this social context,as the gaps between educations in different regions widen,the education equity becomes an important criteria to measure social equity.To solve this problem,it is necessary to have some objective and quantitative research on the relationship between students' family background and academic achievement.On the basic of the quantitative research then we can propose some significant solutions to promote educational equity.There are 56 ethnic groups in China.The diversity of ethnic conditions certainly has different effects on the academic performance of students in different regions.What factors in the ethnic areas will have an impact on students' academic performance?With the development of society,traditional ethnic cultures have also been impacted by the pluralistic values of today's society.Various open ideas have also affected every family in ethnic areas and changed their family values.Divorce is no longer an unsanctioned act.As the family model in ethnic areas is also increasingly diversified and becomes complicated,many dissonant factors will inevitably arise.Then how these factors from family background influence students' academic performance?Or the physics academic performance in particular? The physics discipline is an important part of the natural sciences.It not only plays a key driving role in the progress of the human material civilization,but also has a non-negligible role in the human thinking development.Therefore,the status and role of the physics discipline in many basic education are self-evident.The importance of the physics must be reflected in the scholastic attainment.In all,the study on the family background attaches great practical significance to the influence of the physics achievement of middle school students in ethnic areas.To answer the questions above,this paper analyzes and analyzes the effect of family background on the physics achievement of students in ethnic areas from the theoretical point of view covering three factors that directly affect students' academic performance,and then conducts a questionnaire survey to obtain some research data and a final treatment to the data obtained.Logit measure method was employed here to explain the theoretical results above.And the experimental study indicates that parents' income and parents' occupational education level have a direct impact on the physics achievement of middle school students in minority areas,but the effect of whether the parents are divorced on students' physical performance is not very schools in ethnic areas should pay active attention to the unfavorable learning conditions of some families and social environment.We must be aware that students' physics academic performance is the rsignificant.There are some suggestions based on the research above:(1)Make parents in ethnic regions aware that family factors have an important effect on their children's physics academic performance,and provide lessons for parents to take meaningful actions on their children.(2)Result of the combined influence of schools and families.Schools should take a more favorable attitude towards students with different environments.Schools should adopt measures to improve the learning environment to narrow the gap in the physics performance which caused by family background gaps.(3)governments in ethnic areas should have a clearer understanding of the unequal status of students' physics achievements,and strive to reduce the differences in the academic physics achievements in ethnic areas caused by family background through educational reforms and other methods.
