The problem of bullying has always existed in the human society.It’s like a crime that bothers people’s lives and has not been effectively solved.As an important place for students to study and live,schools also cannot protect students from bullying.On the other hand,with the development of society and the arrival of the Internet age,the relationship between individuals are strengthened.At the same time,people enjoy the convenience brought by the network,the phenomenon of cyberbullying derived from it is becoming more and more serious,especially among students,which has been paid more and more attention by different countries all over the world.British society has taken a series of measures to combat cyberbullying in primary and secondary schools,and has achieved certain results.In this paper,we collected the data of cyberbullying in primary and secondary schools in Britain,clarified the present situation of cyberbullying in primary and secondary schools,and also analyzed the causes of cyberbullying in British primary and secondary schools by case study.Then the countermeasures of cyberbullying were also investigated,in order to reveal the unique features of cyberbullying in British primary and secondary schools.Followed chapters were included:In chapter one,through combing the concept of traditional bullying,a holistic understanding of the bullying problem of British primary and secondary school students was made.Furthermore,through the explanation of the relationship between traditional bullying and cyberbullying,deeply understand of cyberbullying and the its operation mode were also uncovered.In chapter two,we revealed the present situation of cyberbullying in primary and secondary schools in Britain,the utilization of primary and secondary school students,as well as the frequency of cyberbullying.In addition,the characteristics of cyberbullying were also summarized.In chapter three,we explored the causes of cyberbullying in primary and secondary schools in Britain,mainly from the internet ethics environment,individuals’ character,family background,and also the school culture.In chapter four,we summarized the countermeasures of British primary and secondary school cyberbullying.The work done by the British government was explained,including the guidance of policy,financial input and the support of laws.Moreover,the measures taken by the education department and the related organization departments were combed out,a detailed explanation of the efforts made by British schools,social organizations and charities was also given.In chapter five,analyzes and summarizes about the characteristics of cyberbullying management in primary and secondary schools in Britain was given.We also put forward some comprehensive thoughts on how to solve the problem of cyberbullying in primary and secondary schools in the end.
