Foreign literary works are an important part of Chinese language teaching materials.With the development of the times,the proportion of foreign literary works in the teaching materials,the selection of selected articles,and teaching priorities are changing.Diachronically combing the evolution of foreign literary works in junior middle school Chinese language teaching materials can dig deep into the research of Chinese language teaching materials,expand the breadth of subject language research in a longitudinal way,provide reference for education and teaching,and have certain academic value and practical significance.This dissertation selects the most representative five editions of the People's Education Press as research objects,and they are selected from the perspective of foreign literary works.Quantitative and qualitative analysis methods are selected.On the whole,it discusses the close relationship between the compilation and selection of foreign literary works for the junior high school education of the People's Education Press and the development of the times and the state's education policies.The graduation thesis is divided into three parts.The first part introduces the five representative versions of the People's Education Press(1951,1964,1981,2001,and 2016).It describes the main arrangement features of each edition,and briefly analyzes Featured texts,the second part qualitatively analyzes the characteristics,educational functions,and standards of the selection of foreign literary works.First of all,the duration of the research subjects is compared.It can be seen that the foreign literature works of the five editions of the People's Education Press have the characteristics of V-shaped development and changes in the number of selected texts and the geographical distribution of authors from singleness to diversity.The second section explores the changes in the selection criteria of foreign literature.The criteria for selection and selection have emphasized the ideological and political enlightenment of the Chinese curriculum since the founding of the People's Republic of China and began to focus on the transformation of the literary and artistic values of the work itself.Most of the selected works are famous masterpieces.The third section summarizes the main tendencies of the educational function of foreign literary works: the theme of positive energy,the promotion of traditional culture and children's perspective.In the second section,related countermeasures are proposed,such as increasing the number of selected foreign texts,classifying the selected texts in reading,using television works to strengthen understanding of selected texts,and meeting the requirements of the development trend of the times.Respecting and protecting national culture is a prerequisite,and it closely links with the national education policy.The third section discusses the relationship between the teaching content and the test sites.The research object of the foreign literary works in the middle school examination paper in Anhui Province in the past 10 years is taken as the research object,and the relationship between the content and the teaching content is analyzed.
