Literary works often write the ideological history of different times and different nationalities from different angles,and precipitate the essence of culture,which is the crystallization of the spirit and emotion of the times and the cultural carrier of human spiritual homeland.Foreign literary works in a unique way to convey the emotion and cognition,to enable students to understand different of Chinese culture and civilization,the distant foreign culture closer.Thus,in the nine years of compulsory education,the study of foreign literature is an important part of the language curriculum.Learning to read the appreciation of foreign literary works,to understand the different culture,experience a different mode of thinking,from the human outstanding literary works to absorb nutrition,understand the world,self-perfection,has the profound significance to the development of students’ physical and mental health.This thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is "the person of Chinese textbooks for junior middle school foreign literature collection status".Foreign literary works into Chinese textbooks have gone through a coarse to fine,from single to how far the bumpy road;in 2016 enrolled in the junior middle school Chinese Textbooks of foreign literature works is rich and varied,involving novels,prose,poetry,biography and other literary selections;wide geographical distribution,covering a number of countries in Europe,Asia and North America area;diversified value orientation selection.The second part is the analysis of the current situation and problems of the teaching of foreign literature in junior high school Chinese textbooks".According to a Hamhung private school students conducted a questionnaire survey and interviews of the Chinese teachers in the school,students encounter problems when learning foreign literary works are: not familiar with foreign literature related background knowledge gaps in understanding,learning autonomy;teachers’ teaching process: exam oriented teaching concept of a single method,explain the pattern;the foreign literary works was neglected and marginalized.There are mainly the following reasons: different degrees of attention are paid to world literature and national literature;teachers lack the understanding of the importance of foreign literature and lack of knowledge about foreign literature.The third part is "the strategy of problem solving" and the teaching suggestion".In order to make the foreign literary works in Chinese teaching of junior middle school students to truly reflect the value of teaching as the leading role of teachers should change the idea first,improve the attention of the foreign literature;secondly,in the actual teaching should be flexible and change the teaching method,can do "because the teaching" and "teaching for students","because of cultural education,because of age and education",so as to eliminate barriers,improve the efficiency of teaching.
