The senior high school ideological and political course is based on the current economic,political,cultural and philosophical life.It also focuses on students’ future creative lives,fosters the ability to study,select and research independently.It will enhance students’ability to participate actively.Using new teaching methods help to improve the integrity and effectiveness of the political classroom.The seminar-type teaching method conforms to the needs of the curriculum reform for cultivating students’ quality education,and improves the situation of traditional senior high school politics classroom to attach importance only to the status of examination results.It focuses on cultivating students’ independent thinking ability and comprehensive thinking ability.This article will start with the principles and application requirements of seminar-based teaching,discuss the application of seminar-based teaching methods in high school curriculum teaching,and provide new opportunities for the transformation of high school politics curriculum teaching methods.It is expected that the senior high school’s political classroom teaching will have new energy through furthered curriculum reform.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part starts with the meaning of the research teaching method,the characteristics of the research teaching method and the necessity of the application of the research teaching method in the high school politics teaching,which lays a good foundation for the overall construction of the article.The second part,based on questionnaire,literature research and after-class interviews,analyzes the problems existing in the application of argumentative teaching method in the teaching of politics in senior high school.The third part,according to the above problems and reasons analysis,relying on the implementation steps of the research teaching method,analyze the discussion teaching method.In the senior high school political lesson teaching the discussion topic setting,the content design,the effect promotion and so on application strategy.
