With the promotion of the new curriculum reform,the training of high school students is no longer limited to the mastery of book knowledge,but more emphasis on the cultivation of creative thinking ability and practical ability.More and more cartoons appear in high school ideology and politics textbooks and test papers,and the function and role of these cartoons can help teachers create a relaxed and pleasant teaching atmosphere,stimulate students’ interest and entertain them.The cartoons infect students with their ideological,contemporary,living and fun characteristics,and become a bridge between real life and course knowledge,which can make students better participate in the classroom and improve the effectiveness of teaching.This paper will be divided into three parts for analytical discussion:The first part is an overview of the use of cartoons in teaching high school ideology and politics.Based on the relevant literature,we define and classify the concept of cartoons,summarize that cartoons in high school ideology and politics class teaching have the characteristics of political,contemporary,life and fun,and analyze that the use of cartoons in high school ideology and politics class teaching is important for the achievement of core literacy goals,value guidance,visualization of theoretical knowledge,and cultivation of students’ comprehensive ability.The second part is the analysis of the current situation of using cartoons in teaching high school ideology and politics.Through interview method and comparative analysis method,we found that although the current use of cartoons in high school ideology and politics class has achieved certain results,there are still problems such as unclear purpose of using cartoons,poor fit between cartoons and teaching contents,single way of presenting cartoons,and lack of cartoon expansion and development.The main reasons for the problems include the low score of the cartoon test weakens the teachers’ attention to cartoons,the heavy teaching task affects the teachers’ diverse presentation of cartoons,the lack of cartoon resources restricts the teachers’ development and utilization,and the abstractness of cartoons restricts the teachers’ expansion and analysis.The third part is the strategy of using cartoons in teaching high school ideology and politics.From the perspective of classroom orientation,the use of cartoons in high school ideology and politics should follow the principles of politics,education,development and diversity;from the perspective of classroom effectiveness,the purpose of using cartoons should be clarified based on teaching objectives,cartoon materials should be reasonably selected according to teaching contents,cartoons should be presented flexibly and variously according to teaching links,and cartoons should be developed at multiple levels around teaching effects. |
