The study on the student's history comprehension ability is an everlasting problem.With the new curriculum reform in recent years and the proposal of core literacy lately,the student's history comprehension ability has become a rising concern among experts and middle school teachers.The study on the student's history comprehension ability not only has an important significance for study on history curriculum and teaching theory,but also can provide middle teaches references and in the history teaching.As for the the study on the student's history comprehension ability,the first problem to be solved is what is the student's history comprehension ability.Therefore,based on the predecessor's research foundations,with the methods of documentary analysis,I define the concept of historical understanding and student's history comprehension by scholar.Secondly,the problem to be solved is how to evaluate the student's history comprehension ability in order to provide feedback and guidance to the middle school teachers.I adapt the theory of Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe,brought the six dimensions of the performance of student's history comprehension ability,the six dimensions as follows:explain;narrate;insight;apply;empathize;self-cognition.And on this foundation,I partition the e-very dimension into four levels 3 which based on curriculum standard and the college entrance examination syllabus of history.Based on the above theoretical analysis,the last problem to be solved is how to cultivating high school student's history comprehension ability.Solves this problem is to analysis two teaching case,which is around the same topic and bring forward the principle and strategies of fostering Students' history comprehension capability.The principles of fostering Students' history comprehension capability as follows:1.less teaching and more learning,to encourage students' autonomy;2.Pay attention to the pre-concept and starts from the origin of students' history comprehension capability;3.focus on the constructiveness and sustainability of the Students' history comprehension capability.The strategies of fostering Student's history comprehension capability as follows:1.design the question of comprehension;2.penetrate the thoughtway of history subject into the teaching process;3.attetion to the process evaluation of the Students 'history comprehension capability.
