After the new curriculum reform,our country pays attention to the requirements of students' ability,focus on cultivating a comprehensive,developing people.The cultivation of students,ability on historical understanding has become the focus of history curriculum reform,high school history classroom teaching gradually shift to cultivating students ability.The ability of understanding history is the basis for improving students'ability on the thinking of history and it is the core ability of students to understand history,perceive history and understand history in the process of learning history.Specifically,it refers to the students should in respect of the principle of objective history and understanding of historical facts,clear the relevant historical concepts,use historical analysis,recognize and understand of the problem,and then use knowledge to solve the problem.This study argues that the cultivation of high school students 'ability of historical understanding is not only the way of students' knowledge acquisition,emotional attitudes,the ability to improve their thinking ability,but also the way of teachers' improving their professional ability and teaching ability.Therefore,the ultimate goal of history education is to understand and learn history.The study is based on the analysis of the contents of the questionnaire survey and the results of the interview,relying on the "ordinary high school history curriculum standard(experiment)",based on the theoretical basis of the cultivation of historical comprehension ability,this paper takes the history classroom teaching practice as the platform and select the people's version of the history of high school teaching materials,with the help of specific teaching practice case,from the"knowing" is the foundation,"understanding" is the core,"commonsense" is sublimation,"insight" is the end of four levels to research the Strategies and approaches to the cultivation of senior students' historical Understanding.
