With the development of modern education,for high school physics teaching,it is often not easy to find suitable teaching strategy and auxiliary tools that will help with high school physics teaching.Traditional teaching methods is no longer capable of meeting teachers' requirements to achieve the goal of "advocating students',active participation,their willingness of inquiry and operation,cultivating students'ability to collect and handle information,acquire new knowledge,analyze and solve problems,communicate and cooperate",which was put forward by the new curriculum.This study is part of the research on high school physics teaching,which intends to find a proper method which is able to improve students' efficiency,achieve the purpose of efficient classroom and to improve students' scores within a limited period of time so as to cultivate students' thinking ability in the process in learning physics and spread out the visual field of teaching physics.How to apply mind map to physics teaching in senior high school is the important direction of this paper.Applying mind map in the high school physics classroom as a teaching strategy not only can provide a learning method for the students,but also can provide a physical visual thinking tool for teaching,with the intention to improve the classroom efficiency and learning efficiency of students.Through sorting out related articles on studying mind map,the status of studies on related issues is clarified in this paper.Furthermore,with the analyzation of related theory basis and the combination of practical teaching,the feasibility and efficiency of mind map as a teaching tool are proved from a practical point of view,and an experimental practice about mind map in physics teaching is conducted.Through the experiment and the contrast class experiment and questionnaire survey,it proves that the physics teaching activity based on mind mapping is feasible and effective.This paper provides a new teaching strategy for senior high school physics teachers,mind mapping has a certain reference value in the high school physics classroom.
