The teaching of physics concept in junior middle school plays an important role in the physics teaching.It is especially important for students to learn and understand physical knowledge.It determines whether students can master the laws of physics and apply physical principles accurately.The knowledge visualization is a kind of visual representation,which can make the knowledge concrete and intuitive,but not abstract,and is conducive to the spread of knowledge.Choosing the appropriate visual representation tool can discover the information that is drowned behind the knowledge.When applying visual visualization tools to the teaching process,we must pay attention to the integration of various characterization tools.The complementarity between different visual representation tools will make the actual teaching more effective.Therefore,it is important to choose the reasonable application.This paper first sort out the relevant articles and finds that the application of knowledge visualization has been more and more important in all fields,but there are some limitations in the field of education.Application in various disciplines is more focused on thinking maps.This paper classifies the various tools of knowledge visualization based on the characteristics of physical concepts.Dividing the teaching stage based on the Bourne model and the processing model of physics conceptual information in junior middle school.And identifying the cognitive activity at each stage.Under the guidance of the theory of cognitive psychology,the teaching model of middle school physics concept based on cognitive visualization tools is constructed.This paper analyzes the validity of visual representation tools in junior middle school physics concept teaching.The author chooses the parallel class experiment research.The experimental study is carried out in two parts,the quasi-experimental design of the conceptual application stage and the quasi-experimental design of the conceptual link stage.It is found that visual representation tools play an irreplaceable role in junior middle school physics concept teaching.They help students improve their physical achievement,and have positive influence to students' interest and thinking.This study does not discuss a particular characterization tool.Each tool plays an irreplaceable role in teaching,but there are also some limitations.Therefore,it is important to choose the right visual representation tool in the various stages of physics teaching in junior middle school.If we use it too mechanically,it is easy to make bad influence.
