In the rapidly developing social conditions of the Internet,people's lives are not surrounded by information at all times.Intelligent and digital change all aspects of our lives.Whether it is work or learning,the application of science and technology is a new trend of development.Education is the cornerstone of children's growth and the pillar of national development.The development of children's educational mobile applications should receive corresponding attention.In this topic,the educational application used by children in school age is the starting point for distance education.Through the analysis of the physiological and psychological cognitive development characteristics of children in school age,combined with the knowledge building system to explore the design of primary school education applications.Firstly,literature analysis is used to study the physiological and cognitive characteristics of primary school pupils in the lower grades,and an analysis factor analysis table is established.Then use the research method of data induction to study the development status of children's educational applications in smart mobile terminals.Qualitative analysis methods such as user interviews and follow-up observations were used to observe low-level primary school student users.Observe the physiology and cognitive characteristics of lower grade primary school student user groups in their use of learning software,and the educational environment.Interviews with parents and interviews with teachers,viewing children's learning during this period from the perspective of educators.Finally,according to the problems encountered in the previous period,a measurement questionnaire was made,a quantitative study was conducted,feedback collection of a larger sample size was obtained,and a reliable theoretical basis was accumulated for the design.On the basis of investigation and research,according to the design concept of educational software with school age children as the user center.Three principles and six strategies for designing applications for school-age children are summarized,and corresponding design methods provide direction for future development of such applications.Promote the further development of children's educational applications,provide more targeted services for children,help them to build knowledge acquisition models,and cultivate their learning literacy in a digital environment.At the end of the article,starting from the perspective of design practice,we participated in the design of an educational application for school-age children.In the actual design process,we use the principles and methods of interaction design proposed in the previous article.This design can be seen as verification of the interactive design method of the extracurricular learning APP presented in the previous article.
