The 21st century is the era of quality education development,in the context of the common development of individual students and geography,geography literacy research is particularly important.Primary school stage is the starting point of education,is the key period for students to form various abilities,cultivate the geographical literacy of primary school students has the significance of the times.The research on cultivating pupils' geography literacy not only improves the theoretical research of geography teaching,but also provides the basis for the future geography teaching practice.This paper takes Shanghai as an example,combining with psychology,new curriculum reform,happy education and other related theories,through questionnaire survey and interview research methods to study the status of primary school students,in view of the existing problems,summed up four training strategies,namely experimental teaching method,information technology means,evaluation into teaching method to situational teaching method of the four training strategies.This article is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction.This part describes the research background,research significance and research methods of this topic.By using the method of literature research,this paper analyzes the present situation of research at home and abroad,provides the direction for the research of this subject,and briefly introduces the three research methods used in this subject,namely,literature research method,investigation method and data statistics method.The second part is related theory.This part discusses the theoretical basis of this topic from four aspects:curriculum standards,geography literacy,primary school science literacy and happy education theory,which provides theoretical support for this study.The third part is the investigation and study of the present situation.This part through the questionnaire,interviews and other methods,to investigate the current situation of primary school students in Shanghai geographic literacy,and the relevant statistical data,data and computer technology integration,draw the relevant chart,more intuitive to present the conclusions,easy to analyze and compare,so as to provide the basis for the later put forward the strategy of cultivating primary school students geographic literacy.The fourth part is the cultivation strategy.Based on the research on the present situation of pupils' geographical literacy,this paper explores four cultivation strategies,namely,experimental teaching method,information technology method and evaluation method,and presents relevant cases to explain them.The fifth part is the conclusion.This paper expounds the basic conclusions of the subject,finds out the two shortages existing in the research of the subject,and advances some prospects for the follow-up research of the subject.
