Empirical Research On The Correlation Between Female Entrepreneurship And Enterprise Performance Based On Family Perspective

Entrepreneurship has become one of the favorite employment forms nowadays.Women play a crucial role in entrepreneurship,and their achievements in entrepreneurship have been attracting attention all over the world.Since the reform and opening up,a group of Chinese female entrepreneurs have vigorously proved with their outstanding achievements against traditional gender concepts and family division model.For women,they would choose to start a business or start a business together and what are the difference of corporate performance between the two approaches?Starting from the works on female entrepreneurship,this paper focuses on the relationship between female entrepreneurship and corporate performance and the results are found that family is one of the significant factors affecting the corporate performance.Based on different theories,research methods and data,the viewpoint is believed by domestic and foreign scholars that there are positive and negative effects of business owners’ spouses on corporate performance.Then this paper studies the female entrepreneurship and some characteristics and existing problems are showed in Chinese female entrepreneurship.In the end,an empirical study on these problems is used through the multivariate variance analysis,and the impact of female entrepreneurship on enterprise performance from the perspective of family is discussed.The results of the study are listed as follows.Firstly,the corporate performance is better of the corporate which is set up by husband and wife separately than of that is established together.Secondly,among the enterprises which are set up by the couples respectively,the performance of female enterprises is signally better than that of men’s.Based on these conclusions,practical implications are proposed for potential and existing female entrepreneurs and governments.
