With the economic globalization, people's awareness of democracy and gender equality has been gradually strengthened all over the world, and women's status has been significantly improved.Over the years, more and more women have actively participated in the enterprise management team, and gradually developed into "her strength" to promote the enterprise. At present, there are many researches on female executives and corporate performance abroad, and some achievements have been achieved. However, the research on female executives in China is still in the initial stage, and the conclusions are quite different due to different research situations. In order to analyze the internal relationship between female executives and their corporate performance more comprehensively, this paper first takes the proportion of female executives as the explanatory variable and based on the fixed effect regression method, and obtains the conclusion that the proportion of female executives has no significant impact on the accounting performance of enterprises, and has significant impact on the market performance of enterprises. On this basis,we continue to explore the impact of virtual variables of female chairman and high proportion of female executives on corporate performance. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the virtual variables of female chairman and corporate performance, and then the interference variables are filtered by using propensity score matching(PSM),and the conclusion is that corporate performance is better than other enterprises when the proportion of female executives is higher. It proves the fact that the proportion of female executives in China is relatively low,so it can not significantly affect the performance of enterprises, and the status quo that some female executives are well-known and have no real power. Finally, the paper extracts two regulatory variables, women's human capital and social capital.Empirical research shows that the education level and social network relationship of female executives play a positive regulatory role.Based on the above empirical analysis results, this paper puts forward relevant opinions and suggestions from the three levels of individual, enterprise and country, from small to large.Female executives should play their own initiative, improve their education level, and cultivate management skills;be optimistic and brave to pay,and make good use of female advantages;pay attention to female role models, and actively respond to challenges.Enterprises should improve the selection and employment system, optimize the management team, create a fair environment, realize positive competition, pay attention to the work itself, and weaken gender interference. The state should improve relevant laws and regulations, issue policy guidance and encouragement, and build information service channels. To sum up,this paper hopes to promote the application of propensity score matching(PSM)in management, and provide theoretical guidance and practical direction for Chinese enterprises to achieve gender diversity of senior management team as soon as possible.
