Reading comprehension teaching plays an important role in middle school Chinese teaching,students can not only get knowledge about Chinese,but also develop their abilities of Chinese in the process of it.In Chinese reading comprehension,teachers also regard it as an important part,but it doesn't work so well,especially the Chinese reading comprehension in rural middle schools,many problems need to be solved immediately.Wang qing county township junior middle school in modern reading teaching,the following main problems are common in rural middle schools:as for teachers,their ideas and teaching methods are out of date;they can't make good use of information resources around them.They don't have enough chances to learn more,so it is necessary for all of them to improve themselves.As for students,rural life influences students a lot,they know the world less than those in cities and can't understand some articles well.They are weak in Chinese and don't have good reading habits.It is hard for them to put their knowledge into good use.For these reasons,Chinese reading comprehension in rural middle schools develops hard.According to the above problems,I want to analyze the situation of Wangqing rural middle schools'reading comprehension,explore some effective teaching strategies and improve Chinese reading comprehension levels of students in rural areas.This thesis consists of four chapters:The first chapter Introduction.It introduces the aim and significance of this subject.It describes the situation of reading comprehension at home or abroad.It also introduces the scope and methods of this subject,some of the key concepts are defined clearly.The second chapter It discusses the importance of Chinese reading comprehension.It is explained from the following aspects:to improve students' thinking abilities and expressing ability,to develop good personalities and moral characters.The third chapter A survey about Chinese reading comprehension teaching situation By doing the survey of the teaching situation and students' reading comprehension in Wangqing countries.I find some problems and then I summarize and conclude.The fourth chapter Advice about Chinese reading comprehension from teachers and students in Wangqing.I hope the level of Chinese reading comprehension in rural middle schools can be improved.And it can be helpful to the Chinese reading comprehension teaching in rural middle schools.
