In 2001,junior middle school mathematics education ushered in another change,no matter what the change is,final foothold textbook revision.In July 2001,"the full-time compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(experiment draft)"(hereinafter referred to as "course standard(experiment draft)"),was officially promulgated,and encouraged to write teaching materials with local characteristics,east China normal university should be the trend,published "mathematics"(hereinafter referred to as "old teaching material")."Course standard(experiment draft)" has tried,practiced,and accumulated for 10 years.Finally,in December 2011,the compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards(2011 edition)"(hereinafter referred to as" class standard(2011 edition)")has issued.East China normal university according to “course standard(2011 edition)” modified "old teaching materials" to do the modification and adjustment,and published "mathematics"(hereinafter referred to as the "new materials"),which was started in the fall of 2012.This study concluders and summarizes make than 100 mathematics textbooks by literature method.It studies the old and new textbooks with "graphics and geometry" as the carrier,as "new graphics and geometric content of textbooks and what changes compared to the old" as a research issue.With text analysis and comparative research method,content structure,organization structure of the old and new material,knowledge,knowledge points,chronological order,column type and exercises topic types are compared.Through statistical analysis,knowledge of new and old material number and density,number of illustrations,and density,the type of information for a variety of activities and exercises and cases number and the number of different types of topics do statistics,not only for old and new textbooks and teaching materials in volume statistics,especially for the old and the new material of the same number and the number of different statistics.Every aspect above,see "what's new compared to the old".Summarize changes in textbooks in order to further understand "curriculum(2011 edition)",and see the development of mathematics education in junior high school.By comparing the draw: the new teaching material organization structure is consistent with the old teaching materials;New teaching material has more knowledge with exactly the same,old teaching materials is consistent with the overall proportion of the knowledge,New textbook chapter introductions to the first figure,illustration at the end of the chapter,section,summary and activity by more than 60% are the same as the old teaching materials;New teaching material more cases of problem sets and is consistent with old teaching material,the new and old textbooks topic types are single case exercises and distribution is not balanced;New teaching material layout structure has more help to attract the junior middle school students;knowledge order of new textbook makes it easier to learn;New textbook illustrations,program activities and the quantity of problem sets are redundant,especially reasoning certificate number proportion new teaching material is higher than the old teaching materials.All in all,more than 70% of the new teaching material contents and design consistent are similar with the old teaching materials,parts done adjust,did delete part,changing part presentation,increased the searches of mathematical thought,also pay attention to the development of math,new teaching material more readable than the old textbooks,pay more attention to students' knowledge formation,guide students to more fully understand mathematics spirit and mathematical thinking,pay attention to the combination of deductive reasoning and logic reasoning.
