Under the background of information age,the science and technology constantly promote the development of people all over the world to a higher level,artificial intelligence,Internet,the Internet,new technologies,such as the big data is affecting human life and affects the national economic development model,and under the background of the national demand for science and technology talents with comprehensive ability is growing,the request of the traditional education mode already cannot satisfy the requirements of The Times,therefore,STEAM education concept arises at the historic moment.STEAM education concept is a national strategy proposed by developed countries in order to improve their competitiveness in the international community and enhance their technological innovation ability and talent quality.The so-called STEAM education is an effective teaching strategy to improve students' innovative spirit and practical ability by exploring the knowledge of science,technology,mathematics,engineering and art in the subject courses to form the teaching content,and using project-based teaching,inquiry-based teaching and other teaching methods.This study will from STEAM education as well as the characteristics of the junior middle school mathematics graphics and geometric teaching on the basis of analyzing the characteristics of STEAM education idea in the teaching of junior middle school mathematics graphics and geometric feasibility,and then design the STEAM in the concept of education of junior middle school mathematics graphics and geometry teaching practice model,select three junior middle school mathematics teaching content,in accordance with the practical model of instructional design,will be STEAM education concept applied in the teaching practice of instructional design,and the process of practice and effect of interview and questionnaire,the analysis of the results of the survey and the interview content,according to the result of analysis,Evaluate the application effect of STEAM ideas in mathematics teaching,reflect on the problems in practice,summarize the problems in the application of STEAM education ideas in practice,and propose corresponding solutions.
