A Study On The Image Building Of People’s Police In Public Security Organizations In The New Era

Creating the image of the people’s police in the public security unit of the new era that the party and the people are satisfied with is a major issue in the new era.During the historical development of policing in New China,the nurture of the people’s police image in the public security unit has established a permanent and continuous image of the people’s police,created the content of the times of different periods and displayed great achievements in specific period with particular forms.This article enumerates a series of cases with strong public security characteristics and styles,which have profound influence,such as “people’s police Ma Tianmin”,“Fengqiao experience”,“Donglai spirit”,“Zhangzhou 110”.In addition,the creating of the first batch of100 cases named “Fengqiao Police Station” and “Good Police” in the new era demonstrated the public security unit’ long-term success in creating the image of the people’s police.At the same time,this article points out the limitations of the image creating of public security unit and make proper analysis,such as the lack of overall design of the police image,the lack of standard types,the lack of awareness of using intelligent policing technology,the unsatisfactory image creating environment,and the lack of image creating awareness of individual police officers.New requirements for the image creating of people’s police in the new era was put forward.Xi Jinping,the General Secretary,proposes requirements for public security unit,that is “loyalty to the party,service to the people,law enforcement justice,and strict discipline”,has become the general guidelines for the image creating of the people’s police in the new era.This article summarizes and exemplifies the new exploration and achievements of police image creation in the new era through the analysis of advanced typical examples in the new era,the innovation of image creation in some local public security units,and summarizes and exemplifies the new exploration and achievements of the image creation of the police in the new era through the analysis of the normative documents for the image creation of the Public Security Bureau of Yan’an.This article proposes practical measures and suggestions from the perspective of image creation approach with problem analysis,case and example analysis methods based on organizational behavior,new public service theory,police public relations theory and x-bar theory.Firstly,improving the top-level design of image creation and the guidance of image creation on relevant system norms and values.Secondly,strengthening orderly and standardized organizational guidance and implementing image creation in various forms and methods to create a good environment for police image creation.Thirdly,enhancing the self-awareness and initiative of the police’s image by setting up models,strengthening publicity and discipline.Through the above measures,creating the image of the people’s police that meets the requirements of the new era and is satisfactory to the party and the people can enhance the reputation of police work,make the relationship between the police and the people more harmonious,and establish a glorious image of the “Iron Army of Public Security”.
