Research On Interpersonal Communication In Police Image Building In The New Era

The police image is the sum of the impressions formed by the public on the public security organs.It is essentially a public evaluation.A good organizational image is an intangible asset of the public security organs and a social psychological environment in which the public security organs operate.The police image is the product of the interaction of subjective and objective factors.Based on the analysis of the perspective of communication,police image shaping is reflected in the continuous and effective communication to control and guide the subjective and objective factors in the process of forming the police image,thereby continuously improving the subjectivity of the public Cognition systematically affects the process of the public's overall judgment of the police organization's image.In the process of shaping the image of the police,the public security police is the bridge between the public security organs and the public,and it is also the concrete carrier of the police image.The public security authority is mostly realized by the law enforcement duties of the police in the social field.The public security police are the public officials who have the most frequent daily contact with the public.This characteristic determines that the individualized and daily interpersonal communication using the public security police as a medium is the basic way of shaping police image.Entering a new era,facing the challenges and opportunities of the times when major social contradictions have undergone profound changes,information dissemination patterns,and interpersonal communication patterns have undergone subversive changes.How to shape and optimize the police image through effective interpersonal communication is the subject of outstanding theoretical significance and practical value.Based on this,this article takes symbolic interaction theory,Johari window theory,social exchange theory as the theoretical basis,and uses literature research methods,observation methods,questionnaire surveys,interviews and other methods to carry out research.The article gives a theoretical explanation of the basic problems of interpersonal communication in the shaping of police images,including the definition of connotation,communication methods,main features and basic functions,and systematically examines the positive functions and possibilities of the interpersonal communication of police officers in the shaping of police images Negative effects.Taking public security police and the public as the survey objects,collecting data and information through questionnaires and interviews,and combining the results of literature research,it is concluded that there are weak interpersonal communication awareness,single interpersonal communication methods,and interpersonal communication in police interpersonal communication.Problems such as lack of ability and inadequate interpersonal communication effects.The deep-seated constraints include managerial thinking,career changes,psychological and cognitive limitations in subjective aspects,and work pressure in the objective aspect,which leads to insufficient self-image creation and lack of performance evaluation indicators,Insufficient ability to learn and apply.Accordingly,the article proposes corresponding solutions from four aspects: interpersonal communication awareness,communication ability,communication method and communication effectiveness.
