In the 21 st century,with the rapid development of information techno logy,the rapid rise of Internet,cloud computing,Internet of Things and o ther science and technology,the continuous popularization of intelligent de vices,the increasing abundance of media dissemination methods and ways,the word "big data" has been mentioned more and more,and people are increasingly aware of the importance of data.As a government statistical department dealing with data,it undertakes the task of monitoring econo mic operation,objectively describing the current situation of economic and social development,and comprehensively reflecting national conditions an d strength.It is a basic work for the state and government to implement sc-ientific management and macro-decision-making.In recent years,our go vernment has also raised the research and application of big data to the l evel of national strategy.On the one hand,big data provides more compr ehensive data sources for government statistics and faster data acquisition methods,which is of great significance to improve the efficiency of statist ics.On the other hand,big data is of great significance to the authority a nd service of government statistics.Strict requirements and severe challen ges have been put forward in the aspects of data security and leveling.The local investigation team of the National Statistical Bureau is the dispatched agency of the National Statistical Bureau and a part of the statistical investigation of the Chinese government.It belongs to the public service unitsdirectly under the central government.It is directly guided by the statistical operation of the National Statistical Bureau and the provincial investigation team.It has both business contacts and maintenance with the local statistics bureau in the work of local statistics.Independent status.In the era of big data,facing all kinds of opportunities and challenges,the local investigation team of the National Statistical Bureau should actively explore the application of big data technology in statistical work,increase the comprehensive utilization of data,and improve the level of data collection,sharing,analysis,early warning and prediction,and macro-control by using information technology.This paper takes Guangxi survey team system of National Bureau of statistics as an example,references many similar research results and literature at home and abroad,clarifies the related concepts of big data and government statistics,and combs the local adjustment under the background of big data by using literature research,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey and other methods according to the theory of strategic management of public sector,the theory of service-oriented government,and the theory of e-government The main problems of the investigation team in the government’s statistical work are as follows: first,the public’s attention to the statistical data is not high enough to meet the information needs of the public;second,the statistical legal awareness of the respondents is not high enough to strengthen the statistical work;third,the data release is lagging behind,the timeliness is poor,and the statistical work efficiency needs to be improved;fourth,the statistical products are simple and boring,and the pertinence is not strong;Fifth There is deviation between statistical products and the public feeling.In view of the existing problems,combined with the actual situation of Guangxi investigation team system,this paper analyzes the reasons.First,the concept of big data in the system is weak,the statistical thinking is rigid,and there is a lack of innovation power and ability.Second,the basic level is weak,and the quality of statistical personnel is not high.Third,the guarantee of big data reform and upgrading is insufficient.Fourth,it is difficult to share departmental data,and the phenomenon of data island is prominent Sixth,the data development and utilization is low,and the statistical function is not fully played.In order to make the government statistics more suitable for the new normal development of China’s economy and society,and provide a reference for the transformation and upgrading of the local investigation team’s government statistics work and reform and innovation.
