Empirical Studies On Juvenile Campus Violence Crimes

In recent years,campus violence crimes,especially those committed by juveniles,have become an increasingly prominent problem in the society of China and have caused wide public concern.Such crime could have ripple effects on the whole society.On one hand,it puts serious threat on campus security;on the other hand,it is detrimental to the well beings of juvenile students as well as to the public order.Therefore,such issue should be widely heeded by all sectors of the society.In order to cope with the issue,this paper is aimed at studying the causes of juvenile campus violence crime and its prevention mechanism.Based on relevant literature research as well as field study,the paper analyzes the major causes of campus violence crime in the city of N.By reviewing the judicial practices of addressing campus violence at home and abroad,the paper explores the ways to prevent and solve juvenile campus violence crime.The first part of the thesis basically defines the juvenile violent crimes on campus.Above all,we illustrate the concept of violence and school violence in this part,and then delimit the concept of juvenile violent crimes in schools,and analyze the characteristics of juvenile violent crimes.In the second part,combined with the empirical research of N city,this thesis analyzes the trend of juvenile violent crimes in the current stage.With the survey results and the classified research of the 159 cases of underage school violence in the N city from 2016 to 2018,this part points out the development trend of the present violent crimes of minors on campus through analysis.In view of the current trend,the third part analyzes the reasons for the lack of prevention of violent crimes in minors.Taking the investigation of the violent crimes of minors in N city and specific cases into consideration,this part explores the deficiencies of the present measures for precluding juvenile violent crimes in school from five aspects: legal system level,school education level,social management level,family education level and psychological intervention level.Finally,based on the analysis of the above-mentioned reasons,the fourth part puts forward some preferable preventive countermeasures against the violent crimes of minors.Aimed at analyzing the causes of the under-prevention of violent crimes in minors in the third part,and combined the judicial practice at home and abroad,this part proposes the methods of improving the preventive measures for juvenile violent crimes on campus.
