| News report is open and authoritative,which plays an important role in creating a mass communication information environment.The presentation of a group of news reports reflects the perception of the group’s image on the one hand by the mainstream consciousness of the society,and on the other hand continuously influences the audience and solidifies the views of the group through the mimic environment.Teenagers are the hope and future of the country.They are also the key groups to be protected and concerned by the whole society.However,in recent years,negative incidents have frequently occurred,it makes the issue of youth the focus of public discussion.How to correctly present the media image of young people and the significance of guiding public opinion major.Therefore,this paper chose the China Youth Daily and the Beijing News.Statistics,analysis and comparison were conducted on the reports involving the images of teenagers in two newspapers during the three years from June 1,2016 to June 1,2019.Trying to describe the overall image of young people’s media through the analysis of the specific content of news reports.Analyze whether there are problems in presenting the media image of young people in the mass media and propose targeted Improvement measures.The study found that the media has a strong official discourse in the presentation of youth media images,lacks the direct expression of youth voices,and the overall youth media image is relatively negative.Affected by many factors such as gender and living conditions,the presentation of youth media images also varies tendencies,the resulting media image of young people has problems such as facial spectroscopy.Various problems in the construction of young people’s images may not only lead to adolescents’ own cognitive biases,but may also have an impact on public perception and the credibility of the media itself.As an influential mainstream media,the China Youth Daily and the Beijing News should take on social responsibilities and continue to improve the reporting of youth media image presentations,providing reference and reference for more media. |
