Research On Media Image Of The First Secretary Of People’s Daily Online From The Perspective Of Frame

2020 is the year of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the realization of the 13 th Five-Year Plan,as well as the year of ending poverty alleviation.As the first secretary of targeted poverty alleviation,he shoulders the heavy trust of the party and the people and the important task of getting rid of poverty in poverty-stricken areas,and is the image representative of the party and the government in rural areas.The selection of outstanding cadres to serve as the "first secretary" in impoverished villages is an important measure to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech and the central government’s poverty alleviation and development decision-making arrangements.At such a special time node,the media’s spotlight is focused on the first secretary.Both the central-level media and local media have begun to extensively report on the first secretary.However,there are not many studies on the media image in the first secretary’s news reports in the past.2020 happens to be the year when the goal of poverty alleviation is achieved.The media image of a secretary is a good opportunity.The mass media provides a good public opinion space for the first secretary’s poverty alleviation and development work in an all-round way,and plays an important role in the practical interpretation of the first secretary’s poverty alleviation policy.This study uses People’s Daily Online as the research material,and conducts synthetic weekly sampling of all relevant content published between January 1,2015 and November 1,2020,and sorts out 185 news reports that meet the requirements.Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to carry out the analysis,trying to clarify the following questions: how does the People’s Daily News report present the image of the first secretary;what kind of media image the first secretary presents;the media image of the first secretary Influencing factors and existing shortcomings,and make suggestions on how to optimize.This research divides the main content into five parts.The first part is an overview of the development of the news reports of the first secretary of People’s Daily Online,which mainly includes the diachronic analysis and social impact analysis of the news reports of the first secretary of People’s Daily Online.The second part uses Zang Guoren scholars’ high-school-low framework to quantitatively analyze the 185 sample reports,including high-level thematic structure framework,middle-level pictorial structure framework,and low-level narrative text framework.On this basis,we will discuss the overall characteristics of the first secretary’s reporting framework.The third part is an overall combing of the image of the first secretary presented by the news reports of the People’s Daily Online,and summed up five main images: grasping the image of the “leading goose” of the party building a strong organization,and a “doer who implements targeted poverty alleviation policies”.“Pioneer” image,the image of a “pioneer” who bravely shoulders the heavy burden of rural revitalization,the image of “servant” who closes the relationship between the grassroots party and the masses,and the image of a “leader” who enhances the ability of comprehensive rural governance.The fourth part is to discuss the influencing factors and existing problems of the media image of the first secretary of People’s Daily Online.It analyzes the media environment,social environment and content level.At the same time,it points out the media image of the first secretary of People’s Daily Online based on in-depth interviews.Problems in shaping.The fifth part considers the optimization of the media image of the first secretary of People’s Daily Online.It is recommended that People’s Daily Online should avoid falling into the patterned writing style in the presentation of the media image of the first secretary,enhance the innovation and visualization of the article,balance the theme of the report,improve the exemplary role of mainstream media,and create a full and three-dimensional image of the first secretary.
