In the field of journalism and communication,the study of "gender and media" is developing rapidly.With the advent of the Internet age,people’s dependence on traditional paper media has gradually decreased.However,as the earliest communication medium in human history,newspapers still have their unique value and influence in this "electronic communication era" and still play a role in information dissemination.Nowadays,the construction of the Hainan Island Free Trade Pilot Zone requires the introduction of a large number of outstanding talents.As the level of higher education for women improves,women are also a group that cannot be ignored in the introduction of talent.As an important member of Hainan’s information dissemination,Hainan Paper Media should correctly guide the audience’s gender awareness,give respect to female groups,and provide a good environment for the introduction of Hainan Free Trade Port talents.Compared with other types of news,various female images appear more frequently in social news,and they can more fully reflect the problems in society.This article selects the female image in the social news of the Nanguo Metropolis Daily as the research object,and uses the construction week sampling method to extract a total of 119 days of newspapers from its newspapers from 2002 to 2018 as analysis samples,and selects eligible reports from them.A total of 189 samples.Through the construction of the categories of the research samples,through the content analysis method and text analysis method,qualitative and quantitative systematic research on them.This article mainly focuses on "What kind of Hainan women’s image has been constructed by Nanguo Metropolis Daily? Are there any differences in Hainan’s women’s images in different periods? Are the Hainan women’s images they constructed comprehensive and true?" The social news of Nanguo Metropolis Daily has a stereotype when shaping women,and the image of Hainan women constructed is not real and comprehensive.Based on the above issues,the author emphasizes the important role that paper media can play in the construction of the Hainan Island Free Trade Pilot Zone,and puts forward suggestions on how to build a comprehensive and objective female image.
