Research On Living Space Deprivation Of The Rural Elderly Being Forced To Live In Apartments

Under the background of urbanization,China implements the strategy of rural revitalization,and the rural living mode gradually develops from courtyard type to building type.The living and living space of rural residents has changed greatly,and the family intergenerational relationship and social interaction of the elderly in rural areas are undergoing spatial remodeling.This study mainly in the social space perspective,the living space deprivation phenomenon of the rural elderly people living in rural communities now,and from the perspective of social space to supplement intergenerational relations and social interaction research of the rural elderly people living in rural communities now;in reality,through the analysis of the deprivation of living space on the elderly intergenerational relations and social interaction squeeze and the status of the elderly marginalization,trying to give rural elderly more humanistic care.This research mainly uses the case study method and the in-depth interview method two kinds of research methods,selects the C community located in the C village of L county,through the judgment sampling selects 22 old people above 60 years old as the interview object who belongs to the C community and live in the apartments and lives with the offspring together after going to be forced to live in apartments,respectively has carried on the mapping survey,the interview,the supplementary investigation three surveys,has laid the data foundation for the thesis writing.The main contents and viewpoints of this paper are as follows:By comparing the living space after being forced to go to apartments with the living space before living in the villiage,it is found that the elderly live together with their children after being forced to live in the apartments because of rational considerations and maximizing family interests.On the other hand,the public living space changes,the shortage of public living space is prominent,the strong purpose of the main body of communication space production and the strong function of communication space are enhanced,and the psychological space of the elderly is marginalized.Through the research,it is found that thespace deprivation after being forced to live in the apartments makes the elderly face the difficulties of family power and old age poverty,the absence of subjects and the difficulty of community integration.In order to solve these problems and make them enjoy a better old life,it is necessary to coordinate and deal with the relationship between the government,society,market and family,integrate all kinds of old-age resources in rural areas,and make a good living arrangement for the rural elderly being forced to live in apartments.Rural community organizations should strengthen the service function,arrange the activity sites for the elderly,form a stable communication space,and mobilize and organize the elderly groups to participate in sports and cultural activities.Develop community informal organizations for the elderly and organize colorful activities for the elderly.Advocate and inherit the traditional filial piety virtues of the Chinese nation,strengthen the sense of responsibility of the offspring to support their parents,and form a family life atmosphere of respecting and caring for the elderly.The elderly should also improve their self-care ability,communicate more with their families,integrate into community life,and expand their communication space.
