Chongqing Rural Family Cohesion And Intergenerational Interaction Research

Since the founding of new China, there has had a continuous modernization process in rural China, particularly since reform and opening up in 1978, urbanization, industrialization and a series of national policies to deal with the "three rural issues"promote and influence a large number of rural residents away from the land, engage in non-agricultural employment, which increased rural mobility, rural China has experienced unprecedented modernization.Under this social background ,the article built a theoretical framework about the macro-level social change and intergenerational interaction and family cohesion, the Xinzheng village as an example, from the investigation, the materials about Xinzheng village master intergenerational family cohesion and parent-child interaction situation, factors of life care have been found. The results show, first, the Xinzheng village of intergenerational interaction in the economic material support family cohesion, emotional contact ,day- life services and care are still close, family cohesion is strong. Between parents and children still like to living together or being neighbors , but living also lead to the existence of intergenerational conflict, and has a negative impact to intergenerational interaction and family cohesion; Second, the modernization theory can not explain the Xinzheng village's status of international interaction and family cohesion, the process of modernization did not lead to intergenerational interaction and family cohesion become weak, the village of Xinzheng village's family cohesion and intergenerational interactions have hardly been affected; Moreover, patriarchal residence, "filial piety "culture system and culture got a better inheritance in the modern wave, a rich cultural heritage in rural areas beyond the modern role, so that family cohesion has a strong resilience and adaptability to exercise.
