A Research On The Current Situation Of Young Pioneers’ Model Education Activities

In May 30,2014,Comrade Xi Jinping held a symposium at Haidian District Ethnic Primary School in Beijing,said,the power of example is endless.In the key points of the work of the young pioneers in 2019,it is proposed to carry out the pioneer model education.In the new media on the campus of primary and secondary schools and on the newspaper website of the young pioneers,we should vigorously carry out publicity and education on the deeds of the revolutionary martyrs,labor models,reform pioneers,era models and other advanced figures.At the same time,the young pioneers in this stage are in a critical period of psychological development and they have a strong ability of imitating and learning,so we must set a correct example for them.Based on the above background,I hope to solve three problems through research: what are the problems in the current model education activities,what are the causes of these problems and what should young pioneers do to solve these problems.This paper uses three research methods: questionnaire method,interview method and literature method.In the study,540 questionnaires were sent out,516 were recovered and 500 were valid.The subjects were higher grades young pioneers from three primary schools in C City.At the same time,we interviewed 10 higher grades young pioneer’ counselors who had been engaged in the work of young pioneers for more than 5 years.The questionnaire includes 4 dimensions: the importance of model education,the selection of models,the practice of model education and the effect of model education,interviews include the selection of models and the practice of model education.Through the investigation of young pioneers and young pioneers’ counselors,it is found that there are some problems in the model education of young pioneers in three primary schools.Such as,single model selection tree,too few model education frequency,lack of continuity of model education and lack of innovation in model education mode.Through the analysis,we find that the above problems are caused by the heavy workload and lack of professionalism of the young pioneers’ counselors;the students’ parents are not professional;the school does not pay attention to them and the society does not give enough publicity to the role models.At the same time,aiming at the four problems of young pioneers’ example education.This paper puts forward some countermeasures,such as selecting tree models,enriching model education contents,using spare time to improve model education frequency,carrying out systematic activities,enhancing model education effect,developing activity types,and innovating example education mode.
