With the prosperity of China's cultural undertakings,the museum has entered a new stage of development.While the museum provides public cultural services,the overall function is increasingly perfect.In recent years,many outstanding achievements have been made in many aspects of museums in China,and the value of museum intellectual property has gradually emerged.According to statistics,in 2017,the total sales revenue of cultural and creative products of the Palace Museum was 140 million yuan,a year-on-year increase of 26.7%.From "I am in the Forbidden City to repair cultural relics" to "New in the Forbidden City",from the Chaozhu headphones to the Forbidden City cats,the Palace Museum lipstick,the museum's intellectual property shows strong economic strength and cultural strength.This article takes the museum as the research object and the museum intellectual property management as the research content.Based on the research methods of the literature,the case study method and other social scientific research methods,the management status and management dilemma of the intellectual property rights of the museums in China are analyzed.Secondly,it analyzes the characteristics of intellectual property management in foreign museums and explores the lessons that can be learned from China.Finally,it puts forward the measures of adhering to the principle of public cultural service,perfecting the management system and perfecting the guarantee mechanism,and provides reference for improving the utilization rate of the intangible assets of the museum and solving the current intellectual property management dilemma of the museum in China.
