Research On The Influencing Factors Of Double Local Attachment For Residents Be Relocated And Resettled Based On Latent Class Model

After the Chinese economic reform,China has caught hold of a good opportunity for the rapid development of urbanization.People’s income level has increased steadily and the economic level of the whole social has also increased year by year.We are satisfied to see the results of modernization are gratifying.Nowadays the rapid development of urbanization will inevitably bring a lot of demolition and reconstruction to some rural areas as well as urban areas,as a result,thousands of resettlement residents have become the focus of domestic scholars.The residents who were relocated and resettled would have a strong sense of attachment to the original residence in the early stage of demolition.However,the relocation and resettlement policy-has always focused on economic compensation but ignored the emotional needs of the residents.This is very unfavorable for the residents,mental health and future development,so we must pay enough attention to this.The focus of this paper is to study the dual influence factors for the residents’ attachment of the place of original residence and the placement cell.Through the in-depth interviews to identify the influencing factors and analysis to quantify the degree of resident’s place attachment by the questionnaire survey.Then classify the respondents by the Latent Class Model.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:For the original residence,the age of the residents,the degree of education,the life of the residents,the blood of the residents to the original residence,the economic compensation standard for the relocation and resettlement,the relationship between the original residents,the construction of the original residential infrastructure,the place of the original residence,the living side of the original residence,the living environment and the relatives and friends of the family lived nearby are all important factors that can affect the local dependency of the residents;for the present place,the individual’s age,the degree of education,the years of residence,the neighborhood,the public security,the level of the property management at the present place,the level of the infrastructure construction at the present place,the economic compensation standard for the relocation and resettlement,the original residence,the way of living and living environment and relatives and friends live around,and these factors can also affect the local dependency of the resettlement residents on the present place(settlement area).And the elements of the original place also affect the local attachment of the residents to the present place,and conversely,the elements of the present place will affect the residents’ local attachment to the original place.Resettlement residents in this study can be divided into "march forward courageously type"、"loving the past type " and the "love the old way and the new war both type" three types.The "march forward courageously" residents are relatively less to miss the life of the place of original residence.They are characterized by the active acceptance of new life and to adapt to the resettlement community on their own initiative.For this kind of residents,the government should actively carry out vocational training and skill training to make them have better ability to adapt to the new life and correct values,and continue their new life path in the resettlement community.The residents of "loving the past type" are still highly dependent on the local areas.They miss the living environment and lifestyle of the past,and the old houses that have been devoted to them.For these residents,the government should consider the arrangement of the residential areas when they strengthen psychological guidance to accept the new life as soon as possible.We should learn from the elements of the original residence to create a sense of familiarity for the residents,reduce local attachment to the original place,and strengthen the dependence on the resettlement plot.The "love the old way and the new way both type" residents still strongly remain the place attachment of the place of original residence,but they also has gradually become accustomed to the resettlement area of modern living environment and living conditions.Therefore,there are local attachments to both the original and the present places.For this kind of residents,the government should pay attention to the humanistic care and the infrastructure construction level of the residential quarters in the process of relocation and resettlement,and help them to correctly view the needs of the development of the relocation and resettlement of this era.Relevant government departments should not only improve resettlement compensation standards,they should also care about the residents for their emotional appeal.For different groups of people to provide pertinent and appropriate opportunities and channels,and help them to treat the place attachment of the original residence and resettlement community correctly,meanwhile actively guide them to set up a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values,open a new life with an open and confident attitude,and build a harmonious and stable environment for the society.
