Research On The Optimization Of Government Functions In Development And Construction Of Characteristic Towns In Guangdong Province

At present,China is in the process of supply-side structural reform and new-type urbanization strategy.In this context,characteristic towns have become an important platform for regional industrial transformation,integration of industry and city,and institutional innovation.Since the construction plan of characteristic towns was officially put forward in 2014,so far,403 characteristic towns integrating multiple industrial models have been completed across the country.Since the construction and research of characteristic towns in China are relatively late,and there is not enough mature experience for reference,so it is inevitable that there will be some problems in the process of the government performing the management functions of characteristic towns.Guangdong province is no exception.Therefore,it is very necessary to analyze the performance of government regulatory functions in the development process of characteristic towns and formulate corresponding optimization strategies.This paper mainly takes the government funtions of characteristic town of Guangdong province as the focus of research,using the theory of public governance and the theory of new-type urbanization to make the research with the methods of literature research and investigation research.This paper introduces the relevant concepts of characteristic towyns and the theoretical basis of the research,and expounds the development status of characteristic towns in Guangdong province.This paper focuses on the analysis of the government functions performing problems of characteristic town in Guangdong province.including the not sound market mechanism,insufficient financial security,insufficient brand promotion and publicity,insufficient in talent supply and security.Refers to the characteristic town experience from the domestic and foreign countries and cities,this paper puts forward the corresponding function performance optimization strategy.It mainly includes perfecting system construction and sticking to market operation mode;attracting the participation of social capital,a variety of capital supply mode coexistence;establishing the awareness of brand building and strengthening the promotion;paying attention to talent introduction,increasing support.It is hoped that these strategies can be used for reference in the administration of characteristic town with Guangdong province.
