With China entering the aging society in 2000,coping with the aging has become an important issue in the future development of China.A series of problems will be caused by the large base of the aged population, the serious aging, the fast aging of the population and the serious aging of the elderly in China.Especially, the aging level of poor areas has increased rapidly in the last ten years, and how to deal with the aging of poor counties will be an important problem affecting China’s entry into a well-off society in 2020 under the situation of not getting out of poverty in an all-round way. Therefore, the paper uses the fifth and sixth population "census" sub-county data, comprehensive use of the coefficient of variation, spatial autocorrelation and other analytical methods, through the aging coefficient, the dependency ratio of the elderly, the ratio of the old and young and the index of the elderly population coefficient,The spatial pattern and changing characteristics of population aging in 832poverty-stricken counties in China are described in an all-round way.Using the method of geographical detector and multiple linear regression, the influencing factors of population aging in poor counties are analyzed. It provides a reference for the state and government to understand the current situation and trend of aging in poor counties, and also brings some suggestions for poverty alleviation in poor counties. The results show that: 1 in 2010,the poverty-stricken areas generally entered the aging society.Although the degree of aging is slightly lower than that of the non-poor areas, the total population decreases rapidly due to the outflow of a large number of young and adult population and the reduction of the fertility rate.(2)the aging coefficient increased rapidly in the last 10 years, and the average value was basically the same as that in the non-poor areas; The elderly dependency ratio is less stressed, but changes slowly in the past 10 years, but has the trend of deepening and spreading continuously;the old-to-young ratio increases faster and the aging degree is strengthened;the overall level of aging coefficient in poor counties is not high, and most of them are in the age-old stage..3 through the spatial correlation analysis of four indexes of aging degree,it is found that in addition to the aging coefficient, the old-to-young ratio, and the old-age dependency ratio, the spatial association has acontinuous development in 2000-2010,The plate-type low-low concentration areas are basically formed in the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau and the three prefectures of southern Xinjiang, and the high-Gao Ji cluster area in south-north direction is formed at the junction of Guangxi,Guizhou,Hunan,Hubei,Chongqing,Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces. The spatial correlation of aging coefficient is slightly different, but the trend of development is basically consistent with the above three indicators.4 under the influence of population factors and socio-economic factors, poverty is caused by the combination of population factors and socio-economic factors. The aging of population in poor counties has changed in time and space. The mobility of population, especially the outflow of population, has become a new influential factor in the pattern of population aging in poor areas.
