| With the rapid development of the social economy,the market competition is intensifying,and the development of the city has attracted the attention of the academic and the city administrators.At present,the demand of urban residents is not only reflected from the economy,the environment of the city,medical and health services and so on all can influence the city’s satisfaction evaluation,the evaluation of high or low can determine residents living standards,thus affecting residents’ subjective well-being.This study,based on the hierarchy of needs theory Social identity theory via Social identity,the belonging sense of city,trust in government,put forward and test the positive model and the mechanism model of urban governance on residents’ subjective well-being,and built a theoretical model.Surveying 650 residents from different cities,the effective samples were analyzed by SPSS19.0 and AMOS21.0,this study reach the following conclusions:(1)urban governance affects the residents’ subjective well-being positively;(2)urban governance predicts social identity positively,residents’ Social identity positively affect their well-being,and social identity mediates the relation between urban governance and the residents’ subjective well-being;(3)urban governance predicts the belonging sense of city positively,residents’ the belonging sense of city positively affect their subjective well-being,and the belonging sense of city mediates the relation between urban governance and the residents’ subjective well-being;(4)urban governance predicts trust in government positively,residents’ trust in government positively affect their subjective well-being,and trust in government mediates the relation between urban governance and the residents’ subjective well-being.Finally,the paper puts forward the limitations of this study and future research direction,and gives suggestions to the practical community management combined with the conclusions. |
