| National identity is the bond of maintaining the harmony and unity of a country.And it answers the question psychologically that what kind of group a person belongsto. In multi-nationality country, national identity is the basis for the existence of thenation-state. In China,“Tibetan separatist " has existed for more than100years,which is entirely the western countries’ handiwork. In recent years, the Tibetanseparatist forces led by Dalai Lama have been frequent caused various fusses, whichseriously affect the country’s stability and unity and the Tibetan "national identity".637review articles selected from the provincial newspapers "Tibet Daily" from2008-2012are used to study the national identity.This is because the "Tibet Daily" is served as the mainstream media in Tibet and itbears the mission of publication in Tibet. Comments of a newspaper are the "soul" ofitself, which determines the quality of a newspaper. A party newspaper’ commentaryspeaks for the party. As the study object,article comments is more credible inconstructing the national identity.Through analysis of the text of the review, we find that "Tibet Daily" comments setbuilding national identity and sense of national belonging as the direction in thestrategy of constructing national identity. This is because the emphasis on nationalidentity is “politic identity " and " a sense of belonging." In the analysis we find thatthere exists “anomie " in the use of language in "Tibet Daily" comments, especiallyin the comments on Dalai Lama; and the promotional strategies still need to be furtherimproved in order to build the scientific concept of national identity news. |
