Study On New Media Literacy Of Civil Servants In Taojiang County

The new media era needs new media literacy.New media literacy is a new proposition for the new media age,it can be measured in two ways as an audience and a transmitter.As an audience,the new media literacy mainly explores the perception of new media environment,the utilization of new media,and the ability to differentiate and analyze new media.As a communicator,new media literacy focuses on the ability to disseminate and participate in new media through new media.TaoJiang is located in the north of Hunan province.The research on the new media literacy of civil servants in TaoJiang can reflect the status quo of new media literacy of civil servants in the same level of development.By exploring the characteristics and possible shortcomings of the new media literacy of civil servants in TaoJiang,it can help to find a better way to construct the overall public opinion atmosphere of TaoJiang and facilitate the smooth progress of various works.Besides,the study of the new media literacy of the civil servant in TaoJiang,also can provide a reference for future research.Through the questionnaire survey of 1066 civil servants in TaoJiang,and combined with the sampling depth interview and the content analysis of the new media platform in TaoJiang,it can be concluded that TaoJiang's civil servants have certain new media literacy as the audience role,they are aware of the new media environment and can adjust their media behavor according to the environmnent.But according to the research,there is a lack of new media literacy as a transmitter,the frequency of participation in new media is low and Taojiang's civil servants dare not to use the new media platform to occupy the right of speech in the public opinion environment.Lack of the new media literacy of the civil servant is mainly caused by two reasons.On one hand,it is difficult for audience to load the information from new media environment;On the other hand,lack of initiative to promote new media literacy level also has the same influence.By establishing a system of quantified rewards and punishment,and integrating with the training,can improve the new media literacy level of the city's civil cervants effectively.
