Chinese has many shape quantifiers,high frequency of appearance,and complicated usage rules,which are the key and difficult points of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.There is no noun quantifier structure in Russian which is strictly corresponding to that in Chinese,and errors often occur in the acquisition process of Russian speaking students.Therefore,it is of certain academic value to study the errors of Russian speaking students in the acquisition of Chinese shape quantifiers.The thesis takes the primary and intermediate Chinese learners of the Confucius Institute at Belarusian State University of Physical Education("Confucius Institute at Belarusian University")as the survey subjects.Through questionnaire surveys and classroom teaching feedback,it summarizes the four types of errors,such as misuse,omission,confusion of similar shape quantifiers,and generalization of "ge".What’s more,the thesis explains the reasons for errors in four aspects and provides some relevant suggestions for the teaching of shape quantifiers in Chinese as a foreign language,hoping to provide a certain reference for the teaching of shape quantifiers in Chinese as a foreign language.It is proposed that the shape quantifiers in the textbook should be arranged reasonably.Teachers should strengthen the research on the shape quantifiers and adopt a variety of teaching methods.Students should cultivate good learninghabits and use learning and communication strategies appropriately.
