| As an important and difficult point in Chinese teaching,Chinese character teaching has been widely concerned by many researchers.The teaching of Chinese characters can not be separated from the teaching practice.According to different teaching objects,the teaching of Chinese characters should be combined with the actual teaching situation and the acquisition of Chinese characters by learners,and the specific problems should be analyzed concretely.Based on the research background of Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University,the author tries to find out the effective teaching strategies for Chinese characters teaching in the Philippines by sorting out and analyzing the types of errors in Chinese characters writing.First of all,through classroom observation,student questionnaire and teacher-student interview and other research methods,the author analyzes the acquisition status of 110 elementary and intermediate level learners in Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University,and finds that learners use Pinyin instead of Chinese characters to learn Chinese characters,Chinese characters are afraid of difficulties and lack of knowledge of Chinese characters ontology.Secondly,by sorting out and summing up the types of errors in the writing of learners’ Chinese characters,combined with previous studies,the author divides the types of errors in the writing of these 110 learners into four categories: stroke errors,component errors,structural errors and other errors,a total of 11 subcategories.It is found by statistics that the most common types of errors in Chinese writing are stroke errors and component errors,and the most common sub-types are stroke distortion errors and component change errors.The causes of errors in writing of Chinese characters are the improper teaching methods of teachers,the difference between Chinese characters and Filipino,the influence of negative transfer of mother tongue and the lack of ontology knowledge of Chinese characters and closely related to the lack of learners’ learning motivation.Finally,the author tries to improve the teaching method,strengthen the teaching of Chinese character ontology,attach importance to the influence of learners’ psychological factors,take measures according to local conditions —— make full use of the educational resources of Confucius Institute at Bulacan State University to put forward the Chinese character teaching countermeasures against the Chinese character writing errors in order to provide reference for the teaching practice of Chinese characters in the Philippines. |
