The Research And Study Of Homework In Intensive Course Of Intermediate Level

Homework is an extension of classroom teaching and an essential part of teaching.There have been some researches on homework at home and abroad,and some mature theories have been formed.The importance of homework cannot be ignored in TCSL class.However,there are not many studies on homework in TCSL,and there are still some areas worth exploring and studying.This paper takes the homework in intensive course of intermediate level as the research topic,to obtain the first-hand data of the current situation,and hopes to provide some references for the improvement of the homework.This paper uses questionnaire survey as the main research method and interview survey as the auxiliary research method,conducted a survey on the homework of international students and intensive teachers in five classes of grade one in Shanghai International Studies University.The survey mainly includes the following three aspects: one is about the status quo of teachers' and students' attitude towards homework;The second is the present situation of homework layout,which mainly investigates the amount of homework,the difficulty of homework and the types of homework.The third is the current situation of homework inspection and evaluation.Through investigation and data analysis,it is found that there are some problems in the homework of the intensive course of intermediate level.For example,the difficulty of homework is difficult to cater to all tastes;The distribution of homework types is unbalanced;There are differences between the way of homework evaluation and the way of homework evaluation that students like.Based on the analysis of the above problems,further suggestions for improvement of homework are put forward,mainly including: reasonable adjustment of the difficulty of homework;Diverse types of homework;Arrange flexible work;Optimize the evaluation mechanism of homework and so on.
