Chinese crossword · intensive reading textbook(second edition)is a set of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language published by Beijing language and culture university publishing house in 2011.It consists of 7 volumes,which are divided into preparatory,elementary,intermediate and advanced stages.The second edition of the intensive reading Chinese textbook(the second edition)(intermediate)is suitable for the second year students of the university.Through the statistics and analysis of the content of intermediate textbooks,this paper summarizes the deficiencies of textbook compilation,hoping to provide some reference for the future textbook compilation.The main content of this paper is to investigate the content of the textbook of "Chinese crossword · intensive reading textbook(second edition)"(intermediate).To make a systematic analysis of the vocabulary,language points,texts and exercises of the textbook by using the method of data statistics.In view of the shortcomings of the textbook compilation,corresponding revision suggestions are proposed.Through the analysis of the content of the textbook,the author finds that the vocabulary and language points of the text are too difficult,there are too many superclass words and language points,and the total number of words is too small.There are some problems in the English annotation of the new words in this text.The text selection of this textbook not only pays attention to the improvement of Chinese level,but also pays attention to the expansion of knowledge,However,there are some problems in subject and genre.The variety of practice questions in this textbook helps to consolidate the knowledge learned,but there are still some problems about the type and quantity of practice.
