A Grammar Comparative Analysis Of Thailand Higher Education Entrance Examination Of Chinese(PAT7.4) And Chinese Proficiency Test Of China(New HSK)

Thailand Higher Education Entrance Examination of Chinese is named “PAT7.4”,which is Professional Apitude Test of Chinese.Thai universities provide PAT7.4 as an important standard ability test for students who want to select Chinese majors,but PAT7.4 test does not have the specific grammar scope,so this make students hard to prepare for the grammar part of PAT7.4 test.Thailand Higher Education Entrance Examination of Chinese(PAT7.4)and Chinese Proficiency Test of China(New HSK)are both Chinese language level tests.New HSK is an international Chinese Proficiency Test for non-native Chinese speakers(including foreigners,overseas Chinese and Chinese minority candidates),divided into HSK level 1 to 6.Each level has the standard and specific grammar scope.Therefore,if the grammar section of PAT7.4 is compared with the grammar section of HSK level 1 to 6,this should help teachers develop some teaching methods for preparing PAT7.4 test class to students and help high school students have some better way to prepare grammar test of PAT7.4.This thesis mainly compares the grammatical content of seven papers from PAT7.4 from 2009 to 2011 with the grammar section of HSK level 1 to 6.The first chapter of this thesis is the overview of Thai PAT7.4,mainly focuses on the introduction of PAT7.4.The second chapter is the statistical analysis of the grammar section of PAT7.4,including 2009 to 2011.The third chapter is the statistical analysis of the grammar section of China New HSK level 1-6.The fourth chapter is the grammar comparative analysis of PAT7.4 and HSK,and the recommendation for the grammar teaching of PAT7.4,which mainly includes suggestions for teachers and students.The author hope that according to this thesis can give teachers and students some good suggestions for grammar teaching and studying.
