The experiential teaching method began to rise in the 1980 s.Although it has achieved good results in both foreign and domestic primary and secondary schools.It has little to do with the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,especially the study which is classified by region.Emphasizes in “learning by doing”.It’s a good way for culture teaching.Therefore,the author introduces the experiential teaching,combining with its own teaching practice,and the teaching of Chinese culture.This paper analyzes the understanding of Nanjing culture in Nanjing by using literature research,investigation analysis,conversation and regress analysis,and finds out the factors affecting the understanding of Nanjing culture in Nanjing,and sorts out and analyzes the existing problems,and then carries out relevant cultural teaching design.This paper includes three parts,introduction,the text and the conclusion.The details are as follows:The introduction part mainly introduces the research background and significance of the paper,and summarized the current research status of Chinese culture teaching and experiential teaching methods,and explain the ideas and methods of the research.The text part can be divided into three parts as follow: The first part is a theoretical analysis of the application of experiential teaching and experiential teaching method in teaching of Chinese culture;The second part is an analysis that according to the survey data of the students surveyed in Nanjing,the statistical analysis of Nanjing cultural understanding,cultural experience and cultural curriculum in Nanjing is carried out,and the factors affecting the understanding of the culture of students in Nanjing are further analyzed by regression analysis.Further analysis,analysis and summary of the problem.The third part is based on the summary of practical problems and David Cooper’s "experiential teaching method" and Moran’s "cultural experience model" theory,and formulated the specific teaching design plan of Nanjing food culture class.In the conclusion part,through the analysis of the current situation of the cultural understanding of the students in Nanjing,the experiential teaching method is suitable and should be promoted in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.At the same time,the introduction of the mainstream culture should be appropriately introduced.Teaching of culture.Finally pointed out the shortcomings of the paper.It is hoped that through the study of this article,it will be a reference for China to better promote experiential culture teaching and promote local Chinese culture teaching.
